Shot in Los Angeles, New York, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, the film premiered at the 2020 Santa Barbara Film Festival and has screened on PBS and HBO Max.
Dan shot Ali & Cavett: The Tale of the Tapes for director Robert Bader in 2017. The story pivots on the decades long friendship between the Heavyweight Champ and the TV talk show host. The film, which premiered to acclaim at the SXSW Film Festival in 2018, can be viewed on HBO Max.
